“In the year 2070, freedom is a distant memory as the world is ruled by one governing body, a man simply known as “The Father,” who has not ever been seen by anyone alive. One of the most important decrees put into place by “The Father” was the “Decree of the 8th Day,” which introduced another day to the systematic calendar. The world’s population now is in the hundreds, all of which are gathered into one city called Haven where food and shelter are a scarce commodity. Anyone who dares steps out against their ruler or commits any crime, is quickly taken out by a robotic race called “Keepers.” Apex is a 16-year-old boy who is doing all he can to keep himself and his mother alive. A sudden illness ends up having a change for the good in Apex. With the gift he has been granted, Apex decides the time is now to take on “The Father” and his race of “Keepers.” What happened to the Age of Heroes? Who is the Father? Can he be stopped? These questions must be answered as young Apex goes on his quest through Haven to return the world to its former self.”
